I believe this is the second place that contributes to the high failure rate in this industry because upon investing and becoming a distributor you have a “harsh realization” of how the heck do you bring people into your downline and build a business.
I remember the feeling when I first joined a MLM business opportunity and had that very realization of “ok… now how do I find people to bring into my downline and build my business?”…
I was told to make a list of my friends and family then invite then to check out the business overview presentation, this was all good and well but there was a couple of problems with this strategy which were:
Firstly – I didn’t want to work with my friends and family because they just didn’t have the same goals and vision as I did.
Secondly – My friends and family weren’t too fond of the word MLM they thought I was promoting a scam which entirely rubbed me up the wrong way.

They bounce from one marketing plan to another without ever taking the right amount of action with just one marketing plan to start with, they find themselves in the habit of purchasing all the new marketing courses, constantly learning all types of marketing without genuinely narrowing down a single marketing strategy and taking persistent action.
All of this results in information overload without getting the desired result which can cause people to throw in the towel on their MLM business opportunity.
